Do NOT Seek Purification!!
Alright, I understand some of you may consider this to be spoilers, but I don't care, because this is a very significant problem that everyone needs to be aware of.

When going to the Githyanki Cresche, do NOT seek out the purification device. Submitting yourself to it will inflict a massive debuff to your character in the form of a -2 on their Constitution, Intelligence and Wisdom scores.

As far as I can tell, these debuffs seem to be permanent, because they are not going away with a long rest, and Lesser Restoration can not alleviate them.

I did not notice this on my first playthrough, but I sure as hell did on my second one. Now Lae'zel is walking around with a huge nerf, and I don't know how to fix it.

If you corious

use the purification for yourself, leazel will insist on using but with good relation she could be talked to stand down and then suceed the saving throw (intelligence), the third saving throw will use the purification device power to empower yours and you get a feat, just like with omiluum

just kill them and resurrect.

I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what I was able to do after I passed all the checks. 100% worth it and busted

I sought it. I succeeded every roll. I survived. I evolved.

Ah right, I hear that if you kill the inflicted and res with wraith, the debuff is gone correct?

Warning! The game's story has consequences for your actions that aren't always favorable!
It's like some of you have never played a game with an actual story before.

Depend on the gamer really, some like this kind of thing, some doesn't
A little warning is harmless

nothing specific, but in my experience, when something wont remove after a long rest suicide infront of withers fixes it.

yeah the game has big consequences.

In act 1 i drank one of the potions from the hag, broken promises and now i have a perm -1 strength debuff so I have a whopping 7 strength

Dude, the game has made it abundantly clear from the onset that Lae'zel is extremely determined to reunite with her people, and she doesn't trust any other form of healing besides the purification device.

She even tells you outright that if she believes you are heading in the wrong direction and she misses her chance to visit the creche, that she will leave and find it on her own.

This is not so much a 'choice with consequence' as it is an 'I don't want to lose the only front line tank we have at this point in the game right now because I pissed her off.'

I expected the machine to maybe kill her, or for the draining effects to be temporary once she had time to rest and recover. But no, they're a permanent and massive nerf to her character

I really hope that works. :-(

Okay, resurrecting her did not help, and killing her in camp damaged my relationship with her.

Damn it...

She was dead.

Anyways, doesn't matter now. I killed her as part of my Dark Urge side quest... which unfortunately lead to me being forced to kill everybody else in camp too.

Guess I'm continuing the game solo now.
