For example, saving the Tiefling child in the Grove. When she is threatened by the snake, there's a Dark Urge narration giving you a choice.
Or things like recruiting Gale. You can "fantasize" about hacking the hand off.
Not sure why them being hard notice would be the point.
The point of the Dark Urge is that you are compelled to kill by some unknown impulse. If anything, the dialogue options should be much more obvious. Otherwise, you risk choosing options to resist it when you would otherwise want to give in.
Also, the devs stated in the last PFH, that the more you resist the urge, the more difficult it would be to continue doing so in the future. It's not a question of IF you fail, but WHEN.
Something went wrong with this game, whatever that may be, so I chart this up as my good run. I am in act 3 now and exploring the city, which is pretty large. I am trying to find the temple of Bhaal, but I get constantly distracted. First by the Umberlee clerics, then the vampire quest, the reprise of the hag of the swamps, now by running accidentally into the hidden Shar temple...it is hard staying on track.
Sadly, the game did not give me the option to hide the body, and I was thus forced to kill everybody else in the camp as well in self defense.
Now I'm playing the game solo, because I took one look at the Hirelings that Larian grabbed off of Twitter, and decided "NOPE!"
Basically, Larian doesn't know D&D and their writing is middle school writing level.
My butler made a comment about how I would keep chopping down the Moon Maiden's family tree, so I had assumed he wanted me to kill her. But after trying that multiple times and failing, I decided to just release her and she flew away.
Have I missed my chance, or do I have to turn on her in the battle against Ketheric?
