Instead of armor, they just evolve into more powerful spiders.
Is there a way to rename them? I was in a multiplayer game with somebody who had a crow familiar and a dire raven animal companion. One of them was named 'Quoth' and the other was named 'Corvus'.
Then again, it might have been a modded game, because he had both of them out at the same time, which I'm told shouldn't be possible.
No. it's their default names.
I thought it was custom, because 'Quoth' is obviously a reference to Poe, while 'Corvus' is a fancy name for the family of bird is belongs to.
Think both of those are from quest rewards. One is a quest in Act 2 you get gloves from helping the guy who wants to punish the dead bartender . I forget where the other drops. Did not have to rename them since they come with those names.
Ah, then definitely mods, because he had these in Act 1 before we even reached the temple of Selune.
no no no
Quoth is a find familiar summon, a lot of classes have it
Corvus is a Ranger's companion summon
The raven I summoned when I played ranger (archer not beastmaster) had no name though so never seen them from a basic summon spell.
