Well obviously it isn't if it left scorch marks on your party
10 turns is about 60-90 seconds real time though.
Imagine having 4 cleric/wizard classes doing flaming sphere then sanctuary on yourself, the enemy ai would stand there cuz well they can't target anyone with direct attacks.
So maybe a multiplayer session can be fun.
Which is something you should never do when confronted with a wild, carnivorous predator...
Flaming Sphere just won me a battle i could not beat yesterday.

and what was your class + party classes + game difficulty?
True but in this case I think this is more of a funny little bug. Nothing too game breaking but still kinda funny.
