D&D started out as a hobby that was considered exclusively designed for nerds and social outcasts. It has only recently garnered more popularity with mainstream society.
Explicit depictions of sex scenes would not be a shock to the audience. It's probably something that at least half the community has drawn, written, commissioned, or personally animated at some point in their lives.
Sounds like a good way to hurt your sales and bottom line but ok
What do you base this assumption on? D&D is 40-50 years old at this point, and much of its early history included monster races which were barely more than sex crazed savages.
If that stuff didn't sell well, the game wouldn't have lasted as long as it has.
I think he just means that it wouldn't be seen due to the tag which would require a specific toggle or enable to even show up in a feed. So if it's labeled as adult it won't be seen by a large number of users.
I almost responded the same way you did.
It's for relatability, excitement, to convey a lesson, or to just allow immersion. People like to experience drama/excitement to break up the monotony of everyday life, while also being able to relate to characters through similar experiences. Romance is part of that.
Oh the combat is nice too. 😉

This makes it easier for the player to decide what to do and who to approach, if at all.
If you have issues with their personalities, that's another matter entirely.
Which doesn't have anything to do with their sexuality.
No one is forced to act a certain way due to their sexuality, that's labeling.
I always thought you guys were the first to try and remove labels, yet now you want them implemented. Maybe it's time to decide.
Look, I understand that we are raiding a goblin fortress in a race against our own deaths due to possession, but I need you to understand that I am in fact not bisexual, but prefer only sex with other women.
"Wow, thanks for telling me. Put your helmet back on and get back in formation."
You people spend too much time on twitter.
