Has Anyone Found A Use For Enthrall?
And on that note, how about Charm Person?

I use stuff like that when I'm playing mental magic characters.

I roleplay the skills and choices of each character I make which means I'm never optimizing or min/maxing, etc. I'm picking spells I think align with the 'idea' of the character I made or am controlling. Keeps things fresh IMO.

well i mean if you are trying to convince someone to do something or compel them to do it that is what it is for
R. Kelly did. Not a *good* use, mind you....
That should give a bonus to persuasion check, ideally, but it isn't the case...

Can you use it in combat to make sneak attack with other characters ?

This is not a hostile spell and can be cast on NPCs without repercussions.

This spell prevents NPCs from investigating crimes, in other words, successfully pickpocketing an Enthralled NPC or Enthralling them after they shout that they've been robbed will then stop them from investigating or initiating a conversation, and will end the investigation entirely.

If you are pickpocketing, simply make sure that the target is Enthralled when they notice something's missing. As long as they have 3 remaining turns of Enthrall when you succeed on your pickpocket attempt, you are most likely safe. It is not advised for the pickpocketer to be the caster of the spell.

Additionally, since no investigation was carried out, the pickpocketer is not marked as suspicious, so the NPC in question will not stare at the criminal, making successive pickpocket attempts easier to set up.

Stealing items that belong to an NPC that are out in the open, not in their pockets, is trickier and requires timing, you need to enthrall them after they shout that they have been robbed to interrupt the investigation, which will end it prematurely. Casting too late risks the investigation starting and getting caught in a conversation. The culprit can be the one who casts the spell.
They're supposed to be used on people you interact with once, and then never see again. This is because once the spell wears off, they immediately know what happened, and will usually turn hostile against you.

Problem is, you have no way of knowing who this includes on your first few playthroughs.
