FOR MOD AUTHORS: Nexus or In game mod manager?
Just asking a question which one do you choose and why?
As a mod user I don't see the in game manager much of helping:
- Not clear if the load order matters there or not but no load order config available atm
- Short description as far as I'm checking all the mods there
- Quite laggy when browsing the mods (could be due to huge number of players at patch launch)
- At least I can install with ease on my Steam Deck so that's a plus for now

I am still using Nexus as I am familiar with it and I know how I get money from my mods.

I might need to check mod.io if it gives a similar payout.

The ingame system is really easy to use for the end user, so i expect it to be popular because of that.

That's not what the OP asked.

no but one person saying that the ingame thing is bad without using it extensively is also not what they asked. its obvious you have a pretty clear bias.

Load order matters (always did, there are even guides), even more now that "overrides" were taken out of the game (it's the reason why UI mods are overwriting each other now, for example).

Short descriptions aren't always a thing at the Nexus, because some mods require people to know what they're doing.
I read the terms for modders and I already see that the death knight mod will never be officially uploaded here due to copyright
But is SE mods still usable for now? I haven’t tested since I clean install the game for patch 7

I do hope they can update more for this, like load order and extend the description. But if they don’t then people will just go back to Nexus
