The game's been updated a bunch since that and I guess they didn't update the store page.
According to Steam, it's 147.22 GB on my SSD.
EDIT: huh? Apparently everyone has different size of the game. What a curious thing.
Size on the folder for me is 143 GB, but the download was 118.
Even it doesnt matter for downloading, but it does for disk space:
+ about 6 GB for savegames and so (it will be more if you do a complete playthrough, its only a partial one for me because it was multiplayer and I was only hosting at the end, so I am missing all the savegames of the beginning and mid).
I recommend to plan with even more for savegames.
If a friend of yours has the game already, they can copy the game files on a usb stick and give it to you. That way you can shorten the installation
But its normal that an installed game is bigger than its download was. The opposite wouldnt make much sense...
Makes sense. I also have the Digital Deluxe, should have mentioned it. That adds some to the weight.
It's called "file compression". Downloads, especially large ones, are usually compressed.
Sorry, but at this point I was wondering why there's 3 different numbers. First reply claimed slightly over 150 GB, second one 118 GB and my game took 147.22 GB of space. Compression sure, in the case of 118, but why is one decompressed copy of the game over 150 and another is under 150? Care to explain?
