Once in the city, I like to take care of the hag pretty early. Also to fight the gith under the inn, clear out the sewers, do the fight in the park, mess around in the graveyard, etc.
I also take out Lorroakan ASAP, because he has some great loot. House of Hope for the same reason, and because it is fun. But House of Hope can be tricky, and I don't think I would try it at Level 10.
Seriously, everybody keeps skipping this one in Multiplayer and running straight for the grove, and I have no idea why? You guys know you need Withers to raise dead party members and respec your class, right?
-----------------
Also, I find the best way to speed run yourself to level 4 is to do Withers' crypt, then go to the grove to meet Nettie, then cut through the Blighted Village and head to the Zhentarim Hideout. Killing everybody in there can usually bump you up to level 4, but if it doesn't, you can go back to the village and take out the Ogres.
It's a long, tedious process, but it's fairly simple once you've memorized it.
Looks like this post should have gone in a different thread.
Blowing up the top floor seems to do little as it doesn't kill everyone there as you tube videos claim it does.
The only quest I do not advise bypassing is the Harper quest line as you cannot go back to it without it auto-completing rather weirdly.
Once over the bridges, there are certain things you do NOT want to do as it starts the clock and forces you to complete some quests you might not want to mess with just yet. One is the execution notice.
I usually rush ahead and open up as many Act 3 areas as I can as I make the rounds to the vendors with the coolest stuff and get my party loaded-out early into the act.
But that is just me...
Go to the circus, speak to the djin, trick him into letting you inside that jungle location to retrieve Nyrulna trident... One of the best, if not the best, weapon in game. With it in the hands of a multiple attack fighter , all other quests become easier.
By partially I mean I have done everything about the murders except the last part as I maybe need to be higher than level 10 to finish it
I cannot finish Dribbles the Clown quest until I finish the murders quest
The end of the suspicious toys quest I need to be a higher level
It's too late to do Jaheira's quest
