Orin or Gortash first?
Not sure which is best to tackle first in terms of difficult and/or the story?

If they kidnapped someone my character would care about, Orin. If not, Gortash

If you go for Orin, do things with multiple attacks like magic missile or somethin

I killed Orin first to faster become Chosen of Bhaal and get Minthara back.
I also wanted to see if there's any point to the "deal" with Gortash (spoiler: there isn't).

It really doesn't make a difference. Gortash is easier to kill, but Orin kidnapped someone from my camp and if I am role-playing I would rescue that person first.

Threesome?

Despite it seeming that way, there is no timer countdown on Orin killing her kidnapped victim. AFA killing Gortash, you can do it without disabling the Steel Watch first, but it is a lot harder. You can even do it at his coronation but be ready for a lollapalooza of a battle, and you'll have to kill Duke Ravengard .

PSA: Unstoppable condition doesn't prevent stun. So, playing as an open hand monk I got hit by her only once, while her Legendary resistance was still active. After that, just used stunning strike on her until the other party members dealt with the cultists.

Compared to Orin and Kethric, I'd say Gortash is laughably easy to defeat.

If you go for Gortash first, you can throw the grenades dispensed by his traps back at him and the rest of the Steel Watch he has guarding him.

Alternatively, you can form an alliance with Gortash to dominate the Elder Brain together, if you decide to take out Orin first.

Doesn't work on Tactician, though, because those bombs detonate immediately when you try to move them by hand. Learned that one the hard way.

Orin is an active problem for the party whose constantly harassing you, I'd deal with her first.
