Alright, Where's the Soap?
I heard that in the latest patch, they added soap and water to clean our characters off, so we don't run through the whole game covered in blood.

I have yet to find these mythical artifacts anywhere in the game, and thus my characters continue to remain soiled.

I miss Early Access when this dirt and grime stuff wasn't even a feature in the game. They could have at least included an option to disable it, because your characters build up dirt so rapidly, that it's virtually impossible to stay clean for more than a few minutes.

They are scattered around and 4 of them are at Waukeen's Rest.

As far as I know, only water is enough to make your party clean.

Create water works for everyone and is the quickest way. You can put soap on your hotbar and clean one at a time though.

soap locations: goblin camp, waukeen's, elminister's library, camp room above elfsong. Mattis in Rivington sells holy hand soap, but it's just soap. There are others but don't remember and it's not documented.

If you have the script extender debug window running, just use this to get the holy hand soap:

Osi.TemplateAddTo("42d56907-aa68-4f77-a024-3789c323214d", GetHostCharacter(), 1, 1);

Sponges also work. There are a few of those scattered around as well.

There are plenty of soap in act I, heck even the goblins have some (under the bridge). Don't ask me if they left it there for someone to bend over and pick it up thoo! Ambushes in that position can be bad after all!

Sponges will also work, though I don't recall specifically where I found the ones I'm using.

Ah, well the fact I've never encountered them before makes me even more irritated now.

Look near anything that looks like a washtub. :p They don't always highlight with alt, but they're frequently there. Heck, even a vendor or two that sells them. I think Mattis has one. Bit of an embellished name, but it works like soap.

Though, you have to right click and tell your character to "consume" soap to use it, which just conjures images of them eating the soap. At least that doesn't destroy the soap.

You can put in on the hotbar and lefty click so you don't have to be a right clicker and eat it every time
