Can you kill all of your companions and run solo?
Not really interested in a diversity squad of cringe lords.

If you play dark urge, that's the goal.

Yes, and you can always fill up your team with hirelings from Withers

Well first we gotta know what exactly you mean.

Tach difficulty yes, I am in the last battle, but have not won it yet. Honor Mode, that is gonna be the question. Now a solo run to me means no Allies in the final Battle, that is where I am having difficulties with. You have to pick and choose your battles on Tach Difficulty, did not try to fight Raphael, but I did take his Gauntlets and +Con Neckless. I ran the game just my MC and I switched classes when I needed to and I am running with the Emperor and I have plans on Killing him and taking all the power for myself.

It may have been a bug, but on my Dark Urge play through, the Bahlists that were suppose to be on my side fought against me and I had to kill them about half way up the tower.

Just did that in my durge/honor mode run last week. I also went back to the save afterwards and denied Bhaal, there's a new epilogue camp ending for that choice worth checking out.

Took me 280+ hours to finally finish BG3. I restarted several times because the companions kept annoying me, so I eventually just created a full custom party and played as a Dark Urge. I made sure to murder every single story companion, but I didn't feel like I missed out on much.

Currently doing a solo murderhobo run and it's a unique challenge but doable.

You CAN kill all your companions (and may end up doing so as Durge).

If you want to lone wolf it, you can just not recruit any of them. You don't have to.

But you don't have to lone wolf without companions - Withers will happily sell you three hirelings. Just be warned, they don't talk much. Being kinda zombies and all. That might be what you want, of course.

I don't agree with your assessment of the companions, of course, but figured I'd answer your question, anyway.

Yes you are, as you've talked about BG3 on and off for some time. Profiles are private, post history isn't. Are you lonely, OP?

You're in luck, because they added the Magic Mirror which allows you to alter the appearance, voice and even names of custom party members.

If you don't like the Origin party, you can host a multiplayer game, wait for 3 other people to join, then once they're done making characters, you kick them out, switch to single player and rebuild them with the Mirror and Withers.

The only thing the mirror can't change, unfortunately, is their race.

There is nothing more holy, to a Bhaal cultist than getting murdered by the spawn of the god of murder that they worship.

By letting you kill them, they are showing their devotion.

Bhaal's own children tried to slaughter each other for the chance to inherit their father's throne. What makes you think his cultists would show you any more loyalty than your own siblings?

At this point why even play a story driven game if you're going to skip half the story elements.

You don't need to invite your friends, not sure how to get rid of the last cringe lord tho.
