That's it.
And even most of those can be dumped in camp and forgotten forever.
In Act 1, when you find Scratch, his former master has several letters on him. One of those letters tells you that there is a grave in Baldur's Gate with some buried treasure. When you finally get there, if you dig up that grave you do find some buried treasure -- which is nearly valueless compared to the massive wealth you almost certain have by that point in the game.
And you don't need to have the letter to dig up the grave.
You never know when you'll need a Harper pin or that goofy gadget at Rosymorn Monastery, etc. right?

My first couple of runs I did hoard them all, but in the end no need to keep them. Just read and drop or sell for some gold.
One of the books in the silent library shouldn't be blown-up or left behind, it acts as a key.
The Karsite weave book should be given to Gale if he isn't in the party while you plunder the sorcerer's vaults.
Also, though technically not a book , you should keep the Gith Orpheous data disc and give it to Lae'zel if she isn't in your party at the time of discovery.
Books without an orange 'special' outline = sell for sure. Decent way to make money in Act I before the pricier armors start to drop.

There are three of those, actually:
Arcane Tower (the UD one, not the magic shop in Act III)
Creche Yllek (the boy you save in training)
Moonrise (Balthazar's room)
