Archer beastmaster build tips

I’m considering an archer beastmaster build (not light crossbow) and it would be cool to have some tips on it.

My first issue is how much levels of beast master to go, 7/8 or 11?

Second question is, what should be good for second (and maybe third) class?

Third question, what should be the focus of this class? Buff the companion, electrical charges, critical, something else?

Apart of that, i appreciate any comment on items/feats that benefit an archer (or beastmaster specific features).

11 is pretty good on most companions, since it upgrades their abilities, so if you into pets, 11 ranger prob the best.

Otherwise id probably go 8 ranger and 4 champion/assassin.

Could be interesting making cleric or druid for some extra support.
