I don't think you're making the point you think you're making here 😅
Yeah, we must all be crazy. Its baffling how The Marvels cost a gazillion and made a nickle. Cause "normal people" should Love our media being flooded with strong female characters, right? xD Well, some of my movie heroes are women, like sigourney weaver and sandra bullock and charlize theron. But they were well written and made sense in the story. In this game however, it just promotes a reality that says that the women are tough and strong. Can do everything that men can do and more, right? And the men are these bisexual betas that cant wait to bang you after a dance. Thats not normal to me. Its clearly an unnatural attempt to tell you: Seee? Everyones gay or bi! Thats normal! Bang away, the gender doesnt matter! Men are feeble, women are strong, blablabla...
If you dont see the clear undertones this game is forcibly promoting, youre just willfully blind or captured. Women cant do what men can do, and bi people arent everywhere around you and i get weirded out by the game trying to promote otherwise, like a conditioning measure. The LGBTQ are a fraction of the populace and this weird obsession of putting them front and center has just made everyone sick of it. God knows I wish them well and they are not responsible for this. Its the weird woke weirdos that are pushing this agenda in entertainment and media and im having nothing to do with this mental illness...
It also seems like the less people that have seen the movie the more they won't shut up about it.
Balls. Total balls.
Go tell that to Cynthia Rothrock.
I mean one of the earliest quests in the game is to help the daugher of two heterosexual parents...And one of the first things you see in Rivington is a hetero couple with their kids....
And the companion characters aren't "gay or bi", they're coded to be romancable by the player, whatever the player happens to have chosen as their character's gender. Its to allow the option.
And you have the option to say no.
So they should be ignored? So devs shouldn't put options in the game to cater for them as well as everyone else? If you want to play the "they're a minority" card...then I have to break it to you that SO ARE YOU. The section of the populace that is filling their nappies over the inclusion of LQBTQ stuff is a small fraction of the overall "normal" population....everyone else just gets on with their lives. You just think that because you make a lot of noise that you're more numerous than you are.
ah yes, the "hello there campmate" who replies "I want to ♥♥♥♥ your brains out even though you never said anything romance-related to me"
yes
totally possible
1. Cynthia would be flattened if a man with the same training and weight would fight her.
Ask anyone who knows martial arts. I cant believe you even wrote this out...
2. They are gay/bi if they themselves make passes at you in conversation. Which they do. Me saying no doesnt remove the fact that they made a pass at my character.
The coding is also an issue but its coded that way on purpose.
3. I dont know what california bubble you live in, but im not in the minority. Have you ever left your town? Your state? Well ive been all over the world and i know what is normal and what is not, on average. Im in the majority that doesnt want to make a big deal out of sexuality. LGBTQ should have all the options we do. So if you want a gay romance from a character, You have to seek it out, not be pestered by comeons from your party members. Its intrusive. It can be done without anyone getting upset. You dont have to shove agendas in peoples faces.
My god, your post makes me lose hope for humanity xD Idk wether to cry or laugh but im out. No more arguing on the internet for this year...
The actual majority that doesn't want to make a big deal of it just plays the game and doesn't make a big deal of it.
Thanks for showing that you know nothing about martial arts.
Only because you chose a gender that matches theirs. They're coded to be romanceable regardless of the player character gender, so if they come across as gay, thats because of a choice you made.
I don't even live in the US. And I've been a lot of places. Admittedly most of them were countries where there is a greater quality of education than the US...but don't let that upset you too much.
Yet here you are, making a big deal out of it.
I have yet to play BG3 (i'l probably dive into it on christmas holidays later in january), but i would remove gay relationships (via that mod, if you can't do that in the game's options) since i'm not interested in that, so it's great to have a choice. Kudos to PC modders, as always.
Having fun with that massive distortion and slippery slope fallacy?
The existence of that option doesn't stop it from being a game.
You can just...you know...chose not to use the option...
