No need to be so hostile just because I tried to explain why I think this happens.
Now, the question is the nature of overflow. From experience i know in some games you can cause it by simply not having enough space on the disc, but it's also likely it's an engine or save file limitation.
This game isn't designed for that.

Depending on how they structure areas/savegames, it might be the same kind of bug. It's got nothing to do with the disk space, but with how items in a location are represented within your savegame file. I don't think anyone at Larian thought about people decorating their camp, so it's not something they could've tested/foreseen.
Just a guess, though.
