Only my Tav though, not the companions.
Also I find the powers are unnecessary. By act 3 the combination of class powers/spells and the insanely powerful items you find are enough to carry the rest of the game.
That's where I'm on the fence as well because I'm playing as a dark urge Paladin (haven't broken oath a single time) and i'm resisting the urge throughout the campaign.
I have been using tadpole powers and they have been really helpful, so getting more of that definitely isn't bad.
But my character isn't evil. Not willingly at least.
No one cares how you look when you stomp them into the ground.
You get cool powers, sure, but I just don't like the dark veins visible on my beautifully-created Tav's face. (And no, I won't be installing mods just to remove that veiny parts)
