On what level does the barbarian berserker multi class gets better?

I am level 5 but i feel like i already peaked with the class and it is not getting any better and i was thinking of multi classing it with fighter

id not even do barb past lvl 3, barbs are so frontloaded, he doesnt get much better past 3. at 5 he gets +1 attack tho. id go a different class past 3 barb

Every class benefits from long-term loyalty, but there are plenty of combinations that can mitigate the average rewards program benefits of maintaining purity and investing your levels into multiple assets; you can take 3 levels in Barbarian, select Berserker for Frenzy, and then switch into Fighter for the remaining levels if you please. You will not have access to the greatest perk of the Fighter class, the Improved Extra Attack at 11, but you can obtain 2 feats and acquire Indomitable as a sort of consolation prize for your efforts.

You can also choose to squander a feat and Indomitable, dip twice into Rogue to acquire Cunning Actions, and play as a highly mobile guerrilla fighter. I did and it was certainly a lively build. I considered 2 levels in Paladin too, but none of the Paladin's best virtues really come to life when you forego investing heavily into it, or do not multiclass with another spell casting class.

Ah, thats interesting but also disappointing, do you think anyways barbarian berserker is worth leveling if i want to multiclass it with fighter? i mean is "rage" op?

Rage by itself isn't that OP, especially late game where most enemies are doing some type of magic damage. But Frenzy is good for a very specific throwing build and Bear Heart fixes the problem of rage not working against magic damage. Personally I like to go Bear Heart and I think that the three level dip into it is well worth the loss of an extra attack to improve your survivability.

Barbarian class was designed for people who wanted something simple as their character. That's probably the reason why you find barbarian features lacking. The only reason to go further deep to Barbarian is for additional rage charges and to improve it's rage damage which starts to peak at level 9. Multiclass to fighter is probably the best thing you can do for a Barbarian.

I suggest is you Multiclass into fighter for now and respec your Barbarian when you reach max level. Barbarian 9 for better critical damage and Fighter 3 for champion subclass. Stack it some gear that increase your critical range further and see how much damage your Barbarian can pump out.

You get Action Surge, 3 Attacks per action with your pact weapon, Resistance from the Barbarian, coupled with Armor of Agathys from the Lock. Going Warlock 7 and dropping Fighter for Fireshield could be another option.

Berserker 5 or Wild Heart 6 make sense. Further it's not worth it.

Didn't they patch out pact of the blade extra attack stacking with martial extra attack? You should only be getting 2 attacks now.

thank you i read somewhere barbarian gives also big damage boost thats why i liked it too

Did they? I didn't see it in the patch notes, but I haven't tried it since patch 3.

I'm pretty sure it was a few patches/hotfixes ago.

I tried to find it but I can't, maybe I was mistaken. I've never actually gone for such a build assuming it would get patched.

Interesting. If Larian hasn't patched it yet maybe it's intended. This'll be great for my paladin/warlock build! I was going to do 2 points in pally and the rest in sorcerer but this changes things.
