All Full Casters should have lvl1 wizard?
From what i noted basically you can learn (via scrolls) and cast ANY wizard spell using the spell slots.

Besides being late 1 level to access the next spell circle in the main class (but not the wizard spells if you found the scroll) is there any drawback on doing this?

3 drawbacks. The first is that you'll only have a few slots to prepare the spells you learned as a wizard, my Sor/Wiz has 4, so you can have them all as options but only gain a few extra spells available at once. The second is that spells learned as a wizard use INT for attack rolls and saves, so they're gonna be far less reliable. And the third is that you lose your level 12 feat. Overall it's still quite handy, especially considering pure casters don't really have much to grab by way of feats besides War Caster and ASI.

Well in my opinion you need to have at least 16 INT to be worth it which give you access to 4 memorize wizard spells and ''ok'' DC.

The Ogre circlet does not circumvent the low int issue?

It helps, but there are other good head items you may want to use later, and it still only puts you at 17. My caster MC's always boost their primary casting stat to 20 ASAP, which will be 2 modifier (10% higher chance of spells working) compared to the ogre circlet.

Nope. Or rather, it helps, but it's a set number. A wizard with 18 intelligence automatically can prepare more spells but also have a higher accuracy for attacks and better chances for success when enemies make saving throws than the circlet making int 17 will offer, and a wizard with 16 intelligence won't benefit from the circlet at all.

The best way of using the Wizard as full spellcasting multiclass, whether it's the primary or secondary class, is to use one class for damage-spells and the other for non-damage spells. Wizards spells have tons of awesome spells where INT plays no role at all, so you can easily ignore that stat if you're dealing damage with your other class. Or the other way around.

Realistically you're only gonna use a few spells.

This is exactly right - Wizards are known for their utility, so pick all the utility spells as a Wizard, and all your offensive spells as something else.

Also, Magic Missile doesn't care about your intelligence.

it does if you are an evoker and get to level 10. It adds Your int score to every missile. If someone in your party is using the phalar aluve then it adds your int score to that too. You end up doing 2d4+11 per missile, which gets up to a stupid amount of damage if you upcast it.

Its really good for breaking enemy caster concentration.

Wouldn’t it be easier to grab a level of bard instead of wizard for utility spells?

TO be fair, you'd still be better off with zero casters and some haste pots. Spells SUCK in BG3.

Yes, at the moment any Full Caster should dip 1 level into Wizard due to the Scroll learning exploit. Hopefully the next patch is going to fix this.

Just now I was about to go through the scrolls and see what would fit Wyll who is 10 Warlock and 2 Wizard. (as i just got to lvl 12). Buuut now the game tells me with all higher lvl scrolls: "Lear Spell (Wizard level too low).
Did they change this with a patch but forgot to mention it?
.
(like I don't care what is viable or not here, I will do whatever I find fun anyway, but understanding what works and what doesn't is quite crucial.)
