More patches for PC, but still no full version for Mac...

Really disappointed. My DND friends are patiently waiting for me to get the full version on my Mac so we can play our DND characters together in Baldur's Gate. I'm extremely bummed that PS5 and multiple patches have been released, but Mac users are still waiting just to have the full game. Not cool.

You do, of course, realize that the Mac team working on the port is not the same as the PC team, right?

Take the feedback directly to the devs. They don't read this as they have their own official forums and avenues for feedback.

This. If I recall correctly one panel from hell revealed that mac team is some kind of subcontractor team or something. And deducing from that we can determine that Larian has no mac competence themselves.

And as we all know from EA times mac team has not been very succesful keeping up. They seem to have huge difficulties. Which I do not wonder in slightest as apple has close to zero support for game developers imo.

These posts give me joy because people that buy Mac for gaming or expect gaming from Mac don't seem to realize you are the 0.001% of a community. It will always be a slow drip feed, Mac will never ever be a thing when it comes to gaming. Never. PC gaming adapts and evolves way too quickly for Mac to ever catch up to it. Good luck, build a PC.

My point was just don't buy Apple period because Apple is the least customer friendly corporation. Sell it all. Or if you need Mac for non gaming then get a PC too

Did it ever occur to the "Then don't buy apple for gaming" crowd that some people don't buy a computer JUST to play games? I never claimed to be a "serious gamer" whatever that is. I just have a Mac, saw that this game was advertised as available for Mac, thought "oh that looks fun," and bought it. But it was advertised falsely and now I would like some communication from the company as to when I can have the product I already paid for.

I don't think what we're asking for (acknowledgement and an update from larian) merits the amount of hate that Mac users are getting. If you have a PC and you're already enjoying the game, good for you. Why are you all wasting your time mocking the people who can't?

I may have missed it, but no date has been announced for the Mac version yet.

The release was moved from 6. September to later this month, that´s what i found out.

Except that devs already are advertising game as running on Mac without any indication that it's only EA version. And the only time they bothered elaborating on actual release date is some random reply to a random guy on twitter.

Go to the store page, filter games by OS. Also read game requirements. It would make sense to at least add an info box at the store page regarding availability, but hey.
