Clerics are extremely potent spell-casters who can do fun things such as cast Hold Person on an enemy, then cast Inflict Wounds at their highest spell slot level for huge crit damage
She's support with high AC, a very OP support i might add (Heros" feast, Aid are cumulative, Sanctuary and blade/elemental ward for dmg mitigation, guidance all the way, detect thought/thamaturgy for social gameplay) ....

Literally, this! Many overlook this feature, but you can completely customize your party makeup whenever camp is available.
I, personally, found that three tanks and a bard with full pouches of explosives worked best for me on "tactical" difficulty setting.
