Ketheric Thorm! What a fascinating villain!

Most of Ketheric's lore is inside books littered in Gauntlet of Shar and letters in Moonrise Towers, basically he took that path because Dame Aylin is weak,couldn't protect Isobel and all she is good for is being a power source.
His backstory is rather tragic.

And as for Minsc, I told you that his personality seems to be completely intact from the first two games, as far as I remember.

He's still the same idiot who's blindly obsessed with dispensing justice, punishing evil and serving as Boo's hypeman. If there was anything deeper to him in BG 1 and 2 than those character traits, please inform me.

Google Yazemeenah Rossi – she’s 67, still maintains a feminine appearance. Viconia in this seems the equivalent of this (if not younger) in ‘drow years’. She looks like a man mate. Eg: 1:38. That’s a lad’s head. Google her original portrait – no chance it ends up this bad.

Anyway, this is a fruitless debate – if you don’t see it, there’s no point in trying to ‘technically’ prove it, as that would go round in circles. You’ll have to trust me that I’m quite adept at losing all sexual interest by anything that suggests there’s a man in front of me. So I’m just going off that particular compass, nothing ‘intellectual’ about it.

I know you ‘told’ me Minsc is what you think he is – but that’s just your POV dude. I have my POV too. I said from my perspective I do not trust Larian will write the character well. And no offence but I don’t care about your opinion on the topic.

He is just a small rebrand of villain undead king from Divinity:OS 1 & 2.

Larian haven't even bothered to invent something new or loreful to BG universe.

If her name appears in a google search, then she's probably a celebrity who's had some body work done, and not a normal 67 year old woman.

I think the problem people have with the characters becoming uglified between the games is that BG3 modeled its characters on actual people, where as BG 1 and 2 used drawn portraits for their character icons.

In other words, characters in Bg 1 and 2 had more stylized artwork, which allowed them to look way more beautiful than what BG3 can pull off.

I do agree that the elves in BG3 don't have that otherworldly, flawless beauty that they are supposed to be iconic for. But you have to realize that there is a major difference between what you can depict in artwork, vs what you can present in motion capture.

LOL that you mention it, because I remember (way back) reading this article[forums.beamdog.com] on Viconia's BG2 portrait inspiration. The dude just literally traced a real life pornstar, and made a few tweaks to make her look like an elf.

You can even find online the original pornstar's photo that he traced (I couldn't be bothered).

So yes, certain girls do indeed look that beautiful irl.

Check out Irina Dreyt or her sister Nadia on IG. Mary Nabokova. Natalie Lee etc.

I don't come from a country known for its beauties, but on a typical Sat night I see dozens of better looking girls than the ones presented in this game.

Anyway, the Neo-Viconia doesn't look like it was modeled from a real woman of that age (50-60). That's just my opinion.

Without sharing too many spoilers. Thorm is written as a tragic villain whom fate threw into the place he took on.

If you want the spoilers I'm sure you can easily find them, but I found him to be a little flat personally.
