Bug? My level 6 berserker can attack 3 times in a turn
Something odd has happened to my barbarian since hitting level 6. My barbarian can attack 3 times a turn. As you see on the screenshot there is no haste and no bonus action was used.

Here is a screenshot of the battlelog to prove it (guess spoiler warning):

As you can see, he is not using haste or anything like that and I got no mods installed.

Edit: Updated the post as this occurs even without frenzy.

You get additional attack level up and such.

It's a good thing why are you complaining? Do you want to have 1 attack per turn per everyone at level 12?

You get 1 extra attack on level 5, but these are 2 extra attacks. That should be fighter only, no?

He should only have 2 attacks at level 6, not 3.

It looks like you used your bonus action so I'd wonder if something used frenzied strike for you but you don't have the debuff so I dunno

I have noticed that the rules for frenzy changed last patch so maybe this was an unintentional change?
Berserkers get Frenzied strike while in frenzy. It lets you attack as a bonus action but gives you a penalty of -1 to attack rolls until your frenzy ends. Did you use this?

The bonus action was used on the frenzy. And if it was frenzied strike it would say so in the attack log.

I am aware, but you cannot use that on the turn you activate frenzy, and I was just clicking a reckless attack, then a regular attack, and then I somehow got another regular attack.

Frenzied strike, a Berserker ability, lets you make an extra attack as a bonus action.

Might want to read your own character's skills....

If you are Frenzied, and you click on the enemy as if to make a normal attack, it will use that bonus action in the same way that the first 2 clicks are used as an attack using the Action Attack, and Extra attack.

Is that a stack of strain on you, are you using Frenzy to get 2 more actions?

I did not use a bonus action. Read the battle log. And also berserkers do not have two bonus actions so it is impossible to use that on same turn that you enter rage.

No strain. I got Loviatar's Love, Speak to Animals, Detect Thoughts, Bless, Mystra's Blessing, Threatened and Frenzied

Ahh yeah duh the frenzy. Maybe it's related to the use of reckless attack causing the bug since the first attack only has that in the log

Barbarians get extra attack at level 5, which means they get to make 2 attacks per attack action.

Your screenshot shows that you've used a bonus action that turn. There are various things that might turn a bonus action into a main hand attack, which combined with the 2 you're getting as standard would be 3.

For example, do you have the great weapon master feat?

Edit: Lots of crossposting, I see. FWIW It's not frenzied strike since there's no frenzied strain debuff.

"Choosing the Berserker path at 3rd Level will allow a Barbarian to turn his rage into Frenzy. During this period, you can make a single melee weapon attack to perform as a Bonus Action on each of your turns, after activating it. Contrary to the 5E rules, the Berserker will not gain a level of Exhaustion."
Frenzy attack (bonus action) - Regular attack - bonus attack (lvl 5)

I notice the preceding entry in the combat log is dialogue. Were you attacking a non-hostile NPC for the first attack, by any chance?
