Please help with Quest: 'Free True Soul Nere' Bug
So I finished the fight while siding with him on my evil playthough, but every finishing it I am not able to talk to him to continue the quest.

Each time I do, he dismisses with 'Why are you still here?'

Is this intended? The quest indicates that I should talk to him after the fight but he just says that single line before being kicked out of the conversation. No talk options appear.

You probably had situation when "rebel" dwarves interrupted his dialogue ( which automatically starts after fight ) THere are couple dwarves that off screen but come later and can initiate combat.

So just load the game, and make sure to either kill those too or have Nero finish fight away from you so cutscene doesnt start.

Thats the thing, they appeared mid fight. - And even when I tried again by sending all my party members at the entrace to kill them before they even arrive at the main encounter, the problem still persisted :/

I even made sure that even the mind controlled ally is dead before the fight was over.

There is also one archer that patroling. I had the same thing, though i went to double cross him and kill all dwarves, once there is noone to interrupt dialogue proceeds smoothly. Better even if he ends fight far away, so you save, there is even extra flavor interactions of him with sergeant if you dont immediatly start dialogue.

Oh believe me, I had killed that one as well.

I tried it again, this time without ever quicksaving/loading (And waiting patiently without triggering his interaction) and it seems to have worked! As instead of him walking around in the poison gate like he did before, he went ot the middle of the room and triggered the interaction on his own. -NO- idea what I did different. But if I were to bet? It would be the quicksaving/loading in the fight!

yea that area is weird. That whole combat from unseen enemies interrupts crucial plot dialogue kinda cringe.
