What's up with the brothel

Only 1 female ♥♥♥♥♥ available, can't actually ♥♥♥♥ her even for money, just "get touched while in total darkness" i.e. nothing. If I want more, she says, I should go to the male ♥♥♥♥♥. WTF? What kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brothel is that?

I heard it's possible to get foursome action with your romantic partner there - well, no dice: Shadowheart refused saying she wants me all for herself. Yeah funny thing, she hasn't put out yet, despite her bragging to me about how she trained with Sharrans to tie knots with her mouth.

It's like some bizarro world where ♥♥♥♥♥♥ take your money to preach at you about respecting their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ personal space, and your girlfriend talks about how she had sex with many other people while denying sex to you.

Also I'm pretty sure it's only so tough for hetero males. Gay stuff seems to be much more readily available.

Uh if you mean the drow siblings, Shadowheart is the only woman as far as I know who will agree with a 4some (Karlach is the one who refuses because she isn't into the whole incest thing). I tested it, and she agreed. But yes the whole scene is not worth it at all for me considering there's a dude in it as well. You just get a blank screen with some cringe narrating and that's it. They added the brothel just for the knowledge that there's a brothel there, there's not much happening in it which is a bit weird but alas, doesn't bother me much.

Also why say gay stuff is readily available? I'm lesbian and I have no options in that brothel either. And neither gay dudes. The only ones who could benefit from the 4some are the bisexuals since they're into both sexes.

The game doesn't have sexuality restrictions so i'm a bit confused with the last line of your post.

Lae'zel: ugly as sin, horrible grandma body, skin the color of puke. Awesome personality and story, but NOT sexually attractive.

Minthara: literal male face + literal male voice. Also you only get to ♥♥♥♥ her once in Act I, after that it's game over (cut/missing content in Acts 2/3). Still the best of the bunch, except for

Alfira: Can't ♥♥♥♥ her, literal lesbian, also gets autokilled if you play Durge, and killed if you do an evil playthrough. No option to spare her, take as slave etc.

Isobel: Can't ♥♥♥♥ her, literal lesbian, also gets killed by plot if you follow evil path.

Nightsong: Can't ♥♥♥♥ her, literal lesbian, also gets killed by plot if you follow evil path.

Nym the literal prostitute you can supposedly hire for money to get sex: takes money but does NOT give you sex, instead offers a "sensation" and gets pissed when you demand your money back.

Etc., etc., ad nauseum. It seems the developers really went to incredible lengths to deny romantic/sexual opportunities for heterosexual players. On the other hand, ♥♥♥♥ stuff is just everywhere you look.

Sounds like a you-issiue. I think you need to put on big boy pants and instead of being salty resort to a dating sim for your... needs.

Shadowheart refused to partake in the 4some in my playthrough. Said she only wanted my character for herself.

Availability for gay I gathered from what Nym says about her brother, the male prostitute, that he is much more eager and into stuff than her. I did not actually try it out, just took her at her word.

Seriously though, in a way it was the biggest disappointment of all. Ever since early access, I always thought what a great idea it was to let players design their own potential romantic interest (because that's what Daisy was in EA, apart from being a plot device). I looked forward to romancing this "ideal waifu" in full release.

Well ♥♥♥♥ me gently with a chainsaw, what a bait and switch did Larian pull with that.
