I did this. You kill all the survivors of the cave in... but you can save it for later bosses :)

If you can, save before talking to her. If you take the invisible hand and move the barrel, it completely changes her cut scene :D But it you can sneak in there and grab it, that's yet another change to her cut scene. Have some fun with it before you make your final decision on it.
