Report a translation problem
The wardrobe is used specifically to dismiss custom MP companions. If none are in your party, then there's no reason for it to spawn in.
As for how to use the wardrobe, it doesnt appear until you dismiss a custom character. How to dismiss a custom character. Talk tot he character like you would any other companion and you will have an option to dismiss them.
Then you find the wardrobe in camp and take them back out when you want them in party again. (as it will appear at this point once you dismiss someone)
I started a multiplayer game with 3 friends and we all picked origin characters. After they left I wanted to try how this wardrobe works, but I can't talk to/dismiss any of them.
They don't act like normal companion characters just because the player is offline.
