Why every random NPC must tell me that he is gay?
You know that classic situation then you ask someone how to get to this street, he answered you and then randomly say and if you didnt know I'M GAY!

I know you meet this situation at least three times per day? At least if you play BG3...

chef in brothel not just say that he is not interested, but of course because he has a husband.
Random people in front of main gate complaining about random staff and of corse some guy mentioned that he want to see his husband.
Some married couple celebrating their sons new job, oh wait shes divorcing this guy ripping him from all his money and running to her girlfriend. (so modern and progressive)

Maybe someone from harassed sexual minority? Heterosexhuals? can remember only this couple of tiflings in druid grove.

Looks like its not Baldurs gate and more like Brussels cleavage.

Is it really THAT mandatory? then why they called minority in real world i dont understand(

They're a minority in our world, that's a simple fact. That doesn't mean they are one in Faerun. After all Faerun has a lot of things different from our world, magic, dragons, actual gods, etc.

Yup. And, according to some, if you dislike this you are basically Hitler.

How is that different from a woman saying she's got a husband or boyfriend?

Only because you're not paying attention. I remember several heterosexual couples. Some only mentioned, others explicitly shown.

sorry to play devil's advocate, but there seems to be confusion between someone saying "i'm gay" and the words "my husband" to you, they don't mean the same thing exactly, one is pretty passive and on the exact same vein has "my wife" guys. you can find both annoying that's fair. but if you don't mind "my wife guys" and "my husband Girls" then you're kinda being hypocritical. Humans do that. narrowing your vision to fit your narrative is not very mature. A lot of people no matter the sexuality love to mention they have a partner, it's just a thing people do.

And all of Faerun are extroverts that don't value privacy in their intimate relationships ? Rather convinient giving current political climate, must all be coindence i'm sure.

Note, he said "why must they tell me", and look what you did, you made it about "their sexuality" xD

I don't know whats more hilarious, the Chrisitan puritans that didn't know the D&D was always filled with debotched Bards or the amount of knee jerk defense reactions to them.

Maybe because there was no such examples(

Of course we can count all examples, but i think you already know who will win)

I think it is because there are not any heterosexuals in the game. All people are bisexuals. So the chance a man has a husband, or a woman has a wife is 50 %.

But by that logic literally all arguments for appropriate representation has to fly out the window because i can just as well say that every fantasy and sci fi game should be purely white people with blue eyes and blonde hair that speaks english "because maybe diversity isnt a thing in those worlds"

I was very surprised when Scratch asked me if I'd seen his boyfriend Biscotti in Act III.

Very surprised because he was dating that nice owlbear lad last time I checked..
