Death Shepard fight is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It presents itself as winnable, but then the shepards have 1 per turn resurrections that make the fight quite literally never ending. Needs to be fixed

But then... what if there are 2 of them at once?

-They can revive each ally only once

Ah yes, it's so unwinnable that all these other players beat that fight. Without much difficulty at that.

At that point in the game, you should at least be level 5, so who cares if the Death Shepard does 1 resurrection if you're killing 2-4 enemies per turn. Not to mention they can't resurrect anyone in the first place if you just focus them down and kill them immediately.

Love that fight, catches you off guard the first time eh? Nearly won it anyway once I figured out what was going on but I'd burnt though too much resource and people started going to down in the death spiral. Second time it was fairly easy once you know what to expect.

Are you talking about the death shepards in the mountain pass?

Tbh when I encountered it, I found it crazy. I took down like everything in one turn, then dude suddenly just starts reviving them, got me thinking "Wait thats illegal" and everything. All you have to do is rush taking down any/all of them on the battlefield, Preferably in the same turn, but if not theres a limit to how many times they can revive the same thing, which I think is 1, but I can't remember

If you're having difficulty with certain fights, I encourage you to alter your tactics. Crowd Control such as Hypnotic Pattern, Turn Undead, Stunning Strike, Grease, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Slow, Sleep, and more can all make challenging fights a breeze.
Also, be sure to check for vulnerabilities such as radiant damage by examining the enemies you're facing.

Last suggestion would be to try and focus damage on individual enemies while keeping others at bay. This reduces the amount of damage you'll take while ensuring that you're eliminating priority threats consistently. I hope this helps!
Dish out some explosive barrels and get gud.

Yep, each ally can be revived only once... i actually won this fight by killing all weaker minions quickly reducing the incoming damage... and preventing paralysis.

It took me a couple tries. It caught me off guard, I underestimated them like you.

Dunno, oathbreaker can just control them. You also get a free cleric as a companion.

That sounds about right. They had me panicking when they suddenly started raising their allies back up, but in the end, it was relatively easy to win between using guiding bolt, turn undead, and the likes.
