Wasted Potential With Alfira
It's a real shame we didn't get Alfira as a potential companion and romance option in BG3 (her short stay in our camp when we play as the Dark Urge doesn't count). Our party has one big gap, which is the lack of the Bard character, one of the most famous D&D classes. Alfira and Zevlor are the most charismatic characters when it comes to refugees, but while Zevlor has his job as the leader of the whole group, Alfira has no major role, and she's pretty lost. While playing as Dark Urge, Alfira herself tells us that she is looking for inspiration and wants to travel with us to do something useful. I heard somewhere that her character was supposed to be much more developed, and although I don't have specific information, I still think that Alfira was supposed to be one of the most important characters when it comes to refugees. All signs point to Alfira being the perfect companion, and as I said before, not having any Bard in our party is really weird (it's D&D after all). All in all, I'm a bit confused and disappointed, and I hope that Larian adds Alfira sooner than later as a full-fledged addition to our party with full romance, dialogue, etc.

While some may point out you can have a bard hireling, i will rebut that the bard hireling is a halfling with short legs and i'm racist against 7.5m crawling shorties.

She also randomly disappears after act 2... she could have joined us after end of act 2.

But then, the evil path needs some more love even more
heck why settle for her when you also have a Volo bard in camp...get that dude in the party yo :D

Alfira doesn't vanish, if you save her girlfriend (Lakrissa) she hangs out on the roof of the inn the gf works in.

"One big gap"

Monk is ignored and we have two druids.

Alfira has her own romance journey already. If you pay attention she becomes close to and then the partner of another of the tieflings by the time you reach Act 3.

After Act 2, she can be found standing at the roof of Elfsong Tavern, but other than that, she has like one line of dialogue, and that's it. Other than Roland, the refugees just don't have any interesting content in Act 3

Volo is an interesting character, but I don't think he would be much of a use in a fight. It's not about fighting skills, it's more aboult personality. While Alfira is ambitious and ready to act, Volo is a bit of a coward, so I think camp life suits him the best

Her face can be used for character creation, if you like to look at it and romance as it is offered in the selection of faces.

You see it appear with different hair and skin color everywhere, for example of the 2 Tieflings that trapped La'zel in a cage right at the start of the game one wears that face as well.

But for the most part she is made by her Bard clothing and voice.....you can't get those for all i know :-))

if that was a joke , then haha. If not, then Volo is actually a wizard. And not a very good one :P

Yes, I can see the point. I was confused why we had so many druids in our party. When you use one, it somewhat eliminates the point of using the other one. In my playthrough when Jaheira joined me, Halsin was just banished to the corner of the camp, never to be used again.
