So I don't know if this is a glitch or not...

If you save the girl in the cage by throwing a water bottle on her cage at the start of the fight, the option to get a power boost by letting Auntie get away doesn't happen.

I had to kill the girl, then auntie spoke to me...worth every drop of blood ;)

You didn't do the battle right.

I overkill the hag and she begs me and I still kill her idgaf about bogus powerup from a hag.

Girl was alive and well.

Yea I always done this with throw water and never got auntie to surrender until I pressed the button to bring the cage down

You need to threaten her to keep the girl alive and free and also gain the bonus power.

Like the above said. You have to "save" the girl completely. When you do that there's dialogue to let her keep the girl.
What's interesting is how many people are willing to hand over a life for 1 stat point.

If I want to save the girl and get the stat point from the hag, what do I do?

how the hell did you get passed the fireplace? I cant seem to get passed the secret passage behind it that leads to her lair

Get Ethel to <10 hp but don't kill her and she will initiate a dialogue where you can get extra base stats and save the girl if you pass a check.
I used an ice arrow on her prison thing when it was on fire but i guess water etc would also work.

You just have to move your cursor and click behind the fireplace, pretend there's a path back there, and your character will just walk through...but turn of the fire first lol

I've been doing that, but the game REFUSES to let me through, even after turning off the fireplace.

Have you tried holding both mouse buttons together? It's another method of moving your character around.

There's a bug right now after patch that saving Mayrina and getting the power does not allow you to choose the power. Window is all jacked up. So it sounds like more things are bugged with this quest right now. Only way I can get the power option is to let Mayrina go with Ethel.

Everyone tried to save the girl that the Hag NEEDS. Call he bluff next time and see how it goes ;)

I got the deal to save the girl and get the stat buff. I then pushed the girl into the pit anyways.
