Displacer beast is also quite good.
A few talents are on the weaker side, but a lot are suuuper strong.
Dispalcer beast dope! You can just make 2 summons per turn lol
There is a tadpole power that let's you use actions and bonus actions interchangeablely with that and the rest of my build calculations wise I could theoretically do over 2k damage in 1 turn rofl nothing last that long though...
With some roleplaying cost of unlocking such power.
Also IMO the devs could offer some new quests or opportunities in the current ones to unlock the tadpole powers that were limited to a specific class in EA like Horrific Visage or Supernatural Attraction. Only Survival Instinct is available now.
the rest are not really worth an action point. mind blast and black hole is ok if you have the special upgrade that lets you cast them with free action but but is like less then 1/3 of the power that is usefull. 2/3 of them is something you will probably never you.
Those powers are not bad. They are OP. Even simple luck of realms OP by itself.
The difference between character with or without it is humongus.
And that just 1 power.
If every power was so OP as luck of realms, whats balance in that?
They already super strong.
Like Fly, gosh flying half a map in a battle on any hight , really? U dont see OP in that?
Do u even play on higher than easy difficulty?
AoE stun that goes for miles range and do damage as well?
Black hole for that aoe stun or massive aoe sorc damage/disable?
Repulsor for edge fight combined with fall damage trait?
Rogue with 2 bonus actions which can be turned in 3 main actions? with multiclass like warlock or fighter that is 6 main attacks+ perk if u kill an enemy for extra action?
Thrall shield for aoe stun no action required?
There is like 2-3 perks that are objectivly weak.
All others are super strong. You are just not smart enough to appreciate it.
They did not, these have all bin around since 1.0 most of the stuoid strong powers are tier 3, however some of the other ones used right like the changing of any 1 attack to a forced critical can be super powerful.
The push powers also quite strong in this game used em to beat the 400hp gold boss in act 2 in 1 turn lol
The diaplacer beast used right is phenomenal and only a few powers I find meh, like using half your hp to heal another party member, can't think of a good use for losing half your HP unless your stronger member took a bad turn maybe? Lol
that ability alone enables one turn killing anything in the game
Still find the powers to be utterly pointless, even on a character I purposely went all in on the powers.
A few of them have niche abilities, but none of them are game breakingly good. Pretty garbage abilities overall.
None of them really offer anything you can't really get from just using consumables or playing your classes correctly. One free Crit a long rest? Wow. so impactful.
