Am I Locked Out of Romance with Gale?

I got the weave scene before entering the goblin camp and when I chose to "hold on to the moment", I got these set of choices:
• Think about kissing him
• Think about holding hands with him
• Leave. This is a bad idea.
(Something along those lines. There's 2 more choices but I forgot what they are.)

I chose to leave because I thought it would lead to sleeping with him and I just think it's too early for that. Now I'm at the celebration party scene and I've read that's where you lock in the romances, but when I went to talk to him he basically just said to not let him keep me from enjoying the party and go have some drinks. That's literally it, I didn't get to say anything. The conversation ended there. Does that mean I'm locked out of his romance?

I turned him down in the weave scene and didn't flirt at the party.

There were at least 2 more scenes in Act 2 to pursue a romance with him.

This. Dont worry about it, you'll get another chance. Once you talk to a friend of his, then start Act 2 it will open up again.

Seek out some of the gay panic threads in this message board and ask them what dialogue options they're picking with Gale. They can't seem to help but get locked into romance with him.
