Because I have friends? And other people have also done this with no bugs or broken quests in act 3. Not saying you're wrong, but correlation does not mean causation, it could be something else. It's quite easy introduce a bug when you can't account for everyone playing differently, but so far I have not heard this to be an issue. Cross my fingers lol
Before you attack her, have somebody pickpocket the Potion of Invisibility off her.
I've noticed that if given the opportunity, she will use this potion to hide from the party and immediately flee to the fireplace during the first round. However, if you steal the potion from her, then she can't hide herself and your party will be free to wail on her with their strongest attacks.
IF you have a Sussar weapon equipped, you might get lucky enough to SILENCE her. Which in my personal experience, caused her to run outside the house towards the Redcaps, instead of trying to misty step away to the fireplace.
Can put it into her pocket?
