yes, I noticed this too. I still received a -1 to my character's intellect roll, despite wearing the crown.
Might BG3 be first CRPG in recent memory where full plate doesn't become utterly outclassed by naked builds and you don't get buried in + 2d6 elemental damage light magical weapons?

Also you can throw gnomes I mean nothing more fun than throwing gnomes. Well punting would be more fun i guess.
