Um there are plenty of characters that specifically have the trait that they won't be hostile if you knock them out and return later.
So you avoid your oath getting broken by knocking those people out.
Knocking out is really only useful to avoid the "Law" debuff.
You can use it to save minsc or isobel from death.
Tho in the later case death would have been a mercy.
Handing her over was the dumbest thing i did in game.
- Elemental spells in general are lethal.
- Abilities that apply off-balance are non-lethal.
Those will disregard your toggle.
