One of the buttons on the surrounding pillars teleports you down there.

Basically u can use the Telekinisis spell to move the elemental dead body (or whatever is in your way) and then you can cast the speak with the dead in Lorroakan's body, I did just that and it worked, altough the dialog was kinda dissappointing, if something like that happens again you know how to solve it
like the guy up there said... you have to pass 2 Arcane checks.
They're invisible by default. So if you don't have the See Invisibility spell cast, you'll miss them.
I've been playing the game since day one early access; and in all this time, I've only gotten the Volo eye surgery once.
