You gotta thank Blizzard for this situation. They allowed gay parades ingame and then letter organizations started thinking that they views are superior to others in gaming.
As for my side: I would like to have toggle option as well for same gender relationships but only if game characters trying to force you into one.
Well, i dont mind killing characters for trying to get me despite my refusal but at the same time, its not my fault for missing game content because of it.
You realise the orignal baldurs gate had non binary characters right? this is the 3rd game in its line with them. How about you take your non-gender inclusive beleifs out of our long standing inclusive game.
They are and its ultimately denigrating. Not to mention pretty diminishing to any character development that takes place between the player and their party.
Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ habit the rpg genre picked up from Bioware and I wish mainstream rpgs would knock it off.
