I saw the post saying that the women in this game are ugly
But have you seen the male characters/NPCs? Most of them are ugly! with exception of Gale "moderate husband material".

The game doesn't have any attractive male characters comparable to a Leon Kennedy, Cal Kestis, Clive Rosfield, Jacob Custos etc..

What about character creation? 90% of male faces are RIDICULOUS! While female characters have more pretty faces options.

So guys, if you want Larian to make beautiful girls, they should also make handsome boys. 😉

Yea Im gonna be modding character looks a lot in this game. There were already nexus mods to get some pretty characters before release so Im very optimistic that the modding community will do much of what they did for Skyrim in this game as well. :)

the vampire guy is actually good looking enough to be in a japanese made game.

the female characters are the main problem. typical american style cringe.

someone start making facial mods. ill literally pay a comission for a female character face from soul calibur 5.

To me, the problem is why are there mostly only good female style hair? Most, if not all, short hair ONLY look good on female characters. We need modders to save us!

The female half-orcs especially look like someone put a wig on a gorilla. There's one male half-orc face that at least doesn't look like a knuckle-dragging ape-man, but all the female ones, bar none, are nauseatingly awful. Some of the female elf faces are decent too.

As a sculptor the faces are all actually pretty good. Only one i dont like is Gith male. Alot of the bodies are not great though but they are meant to be seen from above most of the time so that accounts for the wider shoulders etc. have to exaggerate those forms for readability.

Some more options would have been nice but what there they shipped are perfectly fine tbh

they did a great job with hair grooms and textures too!

I think Astarion is pretty hot tbh. It's kind of a subjective thing, but I personally disagree with you for the most part. except for Shadowheart, her haircut ruins her looks imo lol

You know, I actually didn't consider the bodies mostly being viewed from above save for cutscenes being a reason they would be exaggerated the way they are. Makes it a little more bearable when I consider it that way. Could do with more variety though, in my opinion.
