Although I don't have a problem with homosexuality. This game really force you in these uncomfortable situations where you have to turn the same sex male companion down when you've hardly done anything to hint that you're interested in them. I feel crappy now because I walked in on Wyatt dancing and he asked me to dance. I decline and, of course, he gives me these puppy dog eyes that show I hurt him. Like damn, way to make me feel like crap for being straight.

It be different if there were obvious signs to trigger a romance storyline, but this is the third time I had to turn down a male companion's advance that I barely talk with. I'm starting to feel like an emotional abuser who playing with everyone's feelings.

I wonder if those women would appreciate an option to turn off romance with men. They could safely interact with men without having to worry about those platonic interactions leading to romantic interest.

Perhaps that option could be extended to everyone, so that everyone could have the romantic interactions that they want to have without worries.

I agree, I'm just leaving the druids and the conversations I've had in camp were a bit abnormal. It needs a bit of toning down. Hopefully it will improve as I progress, starting to regret dismissing some of the woke troll posts.

I have never envy hot women in real life. Nor do I want to emulate their existent in game. It's my roleplay game I should have more agency and who I get tangle in romance.

Unrelated also, you can't even roleplay as a good female loth sworn drow, because the player character is so general, animations etc. Maybe they fix it but I think the ratings will drop a lot overtime, bit of a overhyped flop.

The problem is the fact they try to jump on your ♥♥♥♥ within 5 mins and no dialogue. My favourite romance in WOTR is Daeran and I play male. that was one hell of a relationship story. You had to earn the happy ending and get to know the spoiled noble. this has none of that.

I suspect the issue here is that many of those complain about things like this don't have much experience with real human interaction. People have mentioned a hypothetical "hit chick" or just women in general getting hit on without wanting it, which are very valid complaints. But even as an average looking cis mostly straight man I have had a few friendships where the other person wanted more out of it then just being friends, of both sexes. And in the game, just like reality, you turn them down and sometimes that leads to hurt feelings.

Honestly the most unrealistic thing about most video game romance options aren't that you can find people who are into you that you are not into, its the fact that there are very few games where a player can get rejected by somebody not into them.
