Thanks, any comment on my other questions?
I sell almost everything. I'd much rather have the gold.
In this game I'll keep the plants for crafting.
keep situational items like torches, thieves kits, and magical effects your party cant cast.
Thank you. Does reading books/Ilithid manuscripts do anything ie; exp, puzzle assist, new quests or are they simply a loreful addon to be read and sold?
One or 2 books i found actually gave me alchemy recipes from Nessie's grove but beyond that eh.
The quest text is kind of stuck, I suppose I might find the same resource somewhere else, or later, although it seems to be rare.
Meaning: You can sell items that are necessary to a quest, and have no way of knowing that they will be useful in advance.
keep: The pact
2) Not particularly.
3) Yes, sometimes.
1) most books, all gems and all weapons and rags and stuff can be savely sold
2) very important quest items have an orange border and can't be sold, even after they become irrelevant. most side quest stuff or stuff that unlocks optional dialogue can be sold.
3) there is an achievement for reading 100 books in one playthrough, but that's mostly it (a very low number of books have quests or get some dialogue/reactions from companions or unlock alternative dialogue options, but with one exception so far they seem to be proper quest items with orange border)
