BG3 final download

So i followed the prelaunch instructions by deleting my saves and uninstalling my early access BG3 game. At what point can i download the full game, is there a preload, or will the currently downloaded game still be the beta game?

They've said Steam doesn't allow pre-loads for games that were released to early access. You'll have to wait until launch and start the install then.

Because it IS Steam's fault, as it's their policy. The literal heck do you want them to do? Get over it, it's no one's problem but yours that your internet sucks.

You can leave early access installed if you really want to, it'll just update, but it won't save you any time downloading the final game.

I feel bad that others internets are bad but I just downloaded BG3 fresh again in less then an hour. Not the biggest deals for me.

Also, the current download version is still the Early Access--you'll get the Full Release at 8AM PDT 3 August (tomorrow). it's a global unlock, so that won't work . 8:00AM 3 August in Los Angeles is the exact same moment as 1:00AM 4 August in Sydney.

Edit: If it was a Regional unlock (like FO76 had been and some other games have done), then it might have worked out for you!
