Anyway know how to tell what a mimic chest looks like apart from a regular chest ?
I know dark souls has the funky lil chain and if your perceptive enough u can sorta see it breathing

im picturing a cutscene where a goblin goes to open a chest and gets eaten , that would be hilarious

you meet 3 mimics in game all togueter ready to eat you. There are alot of hidden stuff in the game if you know where to look. One of the most hidden places id say is are the fish people.

in TT do mimics guard items or are they just there to mess with you

In tabletop you can find a mimic by poking it with a 10 foot pole. Mimics sticks to anything that touches it until it reveals itself to be a mimic. So if your pole pokes a treasure chest and sticks to the chest its likely to be a mimic or a DM who spread adhesive on that one chest with the best loot that is very fragile to ♥♥♥♥ with the party.

Sadly the mecha boss isnt very epic , but yeah lots of stuff to see. In fact have yet to see a trule epic fight like in other games like PIllars where you encounter a giant octopus a giant spider if i remember right , dragons etc. The most boss vibe i got from early access might be the hobgoblin which isnt very epic :D

Dragon fight at lv 4? Anyway, did you encounter the gith patrol? Also, there was a dragon (undead?) in one of the trailers.

A Dracolich to be specific. And those are just as scary as their name implies.

Yeah done that :) I remember them being kinda hard when the level 4 was cap.

Larian did mention that act 1 was more of a tutorial area. Hope thats true :)
