You can create a female dwarf in the game. Just like any other race. Even one with a beard. Tolkien's books of the LOTR, he mentions female dwarfs not looking much different than males do. But they are still females, :P
Even in real life, some females look rather masculine. But in all important matters, they are full females in all ways.
Have you seen dwarf fingers? They're practically sausages.
It has become clear in recent announcements that the game started off following D&D, but now it has become more loosely based on D&D. Just a small bait and switch. They want to appeal more to Casuals and I guess casuals do not like Dwarves.
No, the game started off very similar to DoS 2. Your spells even caused environmental effects, such as pools of acid, fire and ice. There were a ton of explosive barrels scattered throughout the game, which players could collect and use to obliterate boss fights with ease.
But the D&D purists around here whined and moaned about it until the devs started removing these features to make it more aligned with D&D mechanics.
Lol. I am positive now you are not being serous.
I obviously can't use the bg3 dwarf models against this statement since it was made well before bg3 and that would be pointless.
This is why I will always be fantasy biased, elves get everything and our poor dwarven lads are just supposed to accept it smh
