Can this community not turn toxic? The term "Woke" means anything not straight, white, or male. Republicans uses this term because saying the "N" Slur in this generation will get you publicly shamed. Stop acting like "Woke" means anything other than you not wanting Male to Male or Female to Female romance or diversity options.

Also can we stop commenting on posts talking about the bear scene??? Its the trolls posting about it requesting a refund or trying to cancel the devs to just stir up the community.

Lets not turn this forum toxic. This is the one game where we the players can play whatever story we want to play with no to little limits. Its freedom of choice. You don't want the bear scene??? Then don't romance HALSIN!!! Don't like gay romance??? Then Don't romance a character of the same sex as you!!!

The game is not forcing you to play a certain way. This is ROLEPLAY. You choose how to play it. If you are so butt hurt that you can romance anyone, or that there are darker skinned characters, or if there is too many gore/horror options... than choose the other options!!! There is even a censored option you can turn on if you want to play it DISNEY STYLE!!!

I think it's cringe how you're not adding anything to the conversation just kinda like an annoying voice in everyone's ear.

That said. I think it's annoying how every gaming forum just crumbles under the word "woke" the gamers who whine about keeping politics out of games are the first ones to ask or whine about something being woke, and it's legitimately exhausting.

I want to be able to browse a forum and not have 20 threads by trolls asking about x or y being woke because the devs decided to be inclusive. And then the discussion just becomes dominated by politics instead of the actual game.

Like keep that stuff in the harry potter forums, or /pol/ or wherever you lurk. Really it seems weak to argue about politics in a gaming forum considering most people aren't prepped to debate. If you wanted to have a true fair debate or discussion you'd have it on a politics discord or forum, not in some gaming channels.

I generally don't feel it's bestiality if both elements are intelligent, sentient, and consenting. Being in an animal shape is a far cry from being an actual animal.

It's not my taste... at all... but eh.

Also, if I remember correctly, the original meaning of "Woke" was a call to stay alert and remember that life is dangerous when you're in a marginalized community. It is specifically a term that started with African Americans in the 20s, I think... but was picked up by others for a broader meaning of "wake up to the fact that some people in this country have it and have had it terrible".

Unfortunately, this is also when it started getting over-used to the point of losing meaning.

And after that the conservatives got a hold of it and started using it as a euphemism for practically every slur you can think of.

I'd give you points but you ruined it with the political one-sided bull crap; I don't support that from any side. You asked for no toxicity but couldn't make it 3 sentences without slinging it. Go back to CNN or MSNBC for your daily fix so you can justify your accusation of racism towards members of one political party that were willing to go to war to free slaves from the other big party that you seem to support.
