Doesn't sound that much different from a typical marriage.
I seem to recall a mod for BG1 or BG2 that added a belt of gender swap - and actually by default it was cursed and stuck on one of the male arcane casters. Had a whole neat little story line, was kind of neat in how it handled it.
That's not a sarcastic slight, that's a real problem here :\
And one could argue the whole romance with the druid - it is about accepting the love interest entirely (both human and beast forms).
I wish I had the skill to write this level of incompetence.
Pretty sure the Disney version is about a woman developing stockholm syndrome and falling in love with the man who imprisoned her own father against his will, and only agreed to release him once she agreed to take his place as his prisoner.
Gaston trying to lead a mob to slay the creature sounds perfectly reasonable, given the context of what went down.
1) Are any of the involved parties minors, or non-consenting?
2) Is it causing any harm (physical, mental, spiritual, financial, or any other way) to anyone involved?
3) Is it in public?
If the answer to these three questions is all no, then ♥♥♥♥ off and leave people alone. Simple as.
