1 - Clear out as much of the nautiloid encounters as possible. Killing the cambion with the flaming sword will give you enough XP to hit level 2, but if you've killed everything else, you should gain enough XP to be close to level 3 already.
2 - Clear out the crypt where you find the undead who resurrects people for money. This should easily get you to level 3.
3 - Head over to the grove and meet with Nettie, then find out about Halsin.
4 - Head to the blighted village and try to kill the ogres if you can. I personally recommend climbing to the roof and shooting them from stealth. You do not have to kill any of the goblins, but it might help expedite the leveling process.
Step 5 - Sneak your way past the gate guards to the goblin camp, make your way inside the temple, and kill both Priestess Gut and Minthara. Both of them together should provide enough EXP to bump you to level 4.
I have not hit level 5 yet, so I don't have any advice on how to reach that. But I would imagine clearing out the rest of the goblins, and picking a fight with the hag might be your next course of action.
So yeah. Maybe someone will find it useful. Still plenty to do in Underdark and couple of hard fights coming on as level 5
Yes, level cap got raised to 5 with Patch 9.
Some 3rd level spells have been added to the game, once you hit that point.
Then you just clear up top skiping everything but combat... the buying/ selling and talking are a no no if you want to level up fast. esc and space becomes your friends...
