Again. Someone making mod to play Minsc confirms nothing about origin characters. That is pure garbage.

A mod that was purely made to unlock Origin Character content that is/was official content, nothing more. Considering the way they appear in the Origin Character set in its unlocked state, it would make sense they were the last 3.

Yea, I don't bother with all the PC gamer news, or reading every snippit of info, prequal comics and the like. So no, I would not have seen that especially since it isn't in Japanese or English. Spreading lies? Careful there.

Not sure, but the voice actress for Jaheira seems like they're at least making an effort to replicate her old voice.

I would not have minded if they had just left them a foot note or a easter egg like finding boo somewhere or just seeing the statue of Minsc. Too many variables with the companions. Unless they are going with the official canon. Because in my first play through I never even met Minsc and Jaheria was dead. Also canonically isn't Jaheria dead? According to the books at least

Well, if we assume BG2 happened at all, you met Minsc since you were adventuring with him.
