BG3 Newsletter : The Wyll Edition!

Once again, just sharing some interesting info about the blade of frontiers! If you rather find out yourself, then please don't read any further..

Of course this information might be subject to change, since Larian might cut the content on full release? Also for anyone who hasn't seen part one of this "newsletter,," then you can catch up under the comments.

1.) The name "Blade of Frontiers" was created because of a Bard? So I'm curious if will meet this person, & if maybe a song was created for Wyll too.

2.) He isn't a fan of half-orcs,, & believes that Faerun is better off without having a lot of them around.

3.) Wyll has "slept" with a few people,, but he doesn't confirm whether they're only women or with men too? We know one of those people was the devil lady herself, where he considers her an old flame.

4.) For anyone who wants to be a legendary hero like Wyll, then you're in luck! He has given free advice such as, "Doing the right thing,, isn't always the nice thing."

5.) Wyll did a "warriors" movie reference that's similar to the video on here ,, which to me was hilarious!

6.) Lastly,, did you know that Wyll & Laezel are written by the same person?

So how is your GQ wooing coming along there Wes? Don't keep us in suspense. Now you get to create your Paladin fantasy to be the Holy Warrior to your Goddess. Also you're welcome for me drawing attention to one of your threads. I know how you love this.

I did not know they were written by the same person but at least that gives me hope for Lae'zel who currently feels like the most one-dimensional of the crew well next to Astarion anyway.

Actually she does visit & post on all of my topics (minus this one),, but they were either deleted or you didn't see them?? Also me & War Maiden haven't broken up,, we're still together...just not in that way! It's like Vixzian said I'm like her little brother,, so think of it in a family way lol.

I'm going to assume you're talking about War Maiden,, since you brought up Gotye?? lol. Well my chances of being a "one hit wonder" to her is pretty much zero,, after finding out I'm a church boy. 😳

And no I'm not talking about being religious,, because she told me that people like myself will never satisfy her. (aka) I'm not worthy of even being a 'one hit wonder' as you said earlier.

I did let her know though that I'm maybe the exception,, & she just said "Oh really? Well, there is nothing like the feeling of being 'full' and highly stimulated, and there is no 'church boy' that can accomplish this in any regard."

My last response to her was just "WtaWtaW"[www.acronymfinder.com] & she hasn't talked to me since than. 😂😭

We're both in the same boat though,, I'm also worthless trash to her now lol. At least Vixzian has a chance to get out of the gutter,, & do what I can only dream! I believe in him,, & know that he will succeed where we have failed.

Haha first of all you all clearly have me confused with someone else. That said I think she just doesn't like anyone who challenges her or rather she does like them a lot but can't give any face to them for being afraid of what that may mean.

I don't think Vixzian gives two f*cks about any of us hahaha dude just drops some ♥♥♥♥ every now and then and then peaces out. Which again probably irritates the hell out of GQ. But then I also think you are seriously downplaying your own role here as I think you and I both know she has an obsession with you. BUT I do think she enjoys the game more than she is into any of you hah.

This is what his writer confirmed himself,, which means it must be true right?? He wouldn't be lying to his precious Wyll fans.

1.) There's a good chance that Wyll's story of how he lost his eye isn't completely true? He said how the MC should lie about how their own eye got damaged?? That the MC should say it's a wound from battle, & that the MC should trust him because people will believe it.

I'm suspecting Wyll lost his eye while hiding,, or looking for the devil lady? Maybe even deserting his comrades,, but got captured while fleeing?

2.) A goblin that tortured Wyll will want "redemption," which Wyll replies how he will only find it with the blade? I wonder if this Goblin really wants to change their ways,, or is saying anything to live..

3.) Wyll said that he teaches kids to fight, yet not to hate! This shows that he's trying to create better versions of himself.

4.) He has to put a lot of trust in Shadowheart, & tells her to not "break it?" This clearly means it will be broken,, since that's what Shar worshippers do right??

5.) Wyll really sees himself as a legendary hero, yet admits that no legend can ever reach every ear. 👂🦸‍♂️

to be fair my friend, good alignments are in short supply among our companions

Yes we all know he is good because of both his actions and Tavs deeds which influence him. The real question is how far he is willing to go for Mizora and how that will affect him over time.

Below are more of my thoughts, & possible spoilers about Wyll.

1.) Before the devil lady was captured, she told Wyll in a very mean way that he'll never be free! 🤕⛓😈

Therefore I doubt she'll have a change of heart, & will actually punish Wyll even more! She's just going to torture him for putting her in this situation to begin with?

Because it was Wyll who wanted to meet up in the first place,, which means in her eyes it's all his fault!

2.) Wyll admitted that he never entered the pact by choice, but said otherwise for some reason? It seems like he was the devil lady's puppet even before officially saying yes to becoming one.

He said that "Mizora made me a puppet, I made me a hero!" but most likely it's for all the wrong reasons?? He just wanted to make his daddy proud, & didn't really join the hero business to help others.

This reminds me of "Solder Boy" who's an alternate version of Captain America lol. (They're so similar that I could imagine it's Wyll on the video instead, except the words are tweaked a bit.) https://youtu.be/jw--FAQkTHQ

It's been a while since I posted any news related to Wyll,, so sorry to all of my subscribers who expected much more from me.

Well here's something that nobody from the D&D community has mentioned,, which is how 'Wyll' knows 'Xenk' from that D&D movie.

He was the paladin who was butt kicking for goodness.
