We might get these ones:
Life Domain
Light Domain
Trickery Domain
Knowledge Domain
Nature Domain
Tempest Domain
War Domain
Oath of Devotion
Oath of the Ancients
Oath of Vengeance
I thought Oathbreaker was UA material, so it might not make it (unless I'm wrong...I don't always memorize all the subclasses and where they came from).
The only promise Larian has given us regarding subclasses and races is that everything from the PHB will be in - and maybe some additional content as well, but nothing guaranteed. We have playable Githyanki, for example, because the Gith are integral to the story in BG3. So far, they are the only non-PHB material that's been added.
Alrighty, thank you!
The oathbreaker and death domain subs are both in the DMG IIRC for use as villiain classes but they are fully fleshed out as I've played both in tabletop campaigns. Be a bummer if they don't make it in but hey, at least we get warlocks.
Ah, well in that case there's no guarantee, as Larian has only explicitly confirmed material from the PHB.
I'd like the death domain as well for my necrodancers.
But even if those races don't make it in in an official sense, there's a good chance that they could eventually be added via Mods.
But I would be surprised if Oathbreaker Paladins weren't added sooner or later, considering how one of the more famous and relatively recent D&D characters was an Oathbreaker: Arkhan the Cruel of Critical Role fame (and Wizards of the Coast has literally made Arkhan a canon part of the D&D universe).
However they were not PHB. They were in the DMG. They were meant to be played with DM permission.
Hold up, Death Domain wasn't in the Player's Handbook? So, how the hell were players supposed to represent a cleric of Kelemvor, or some other deity who was closely associated with death, undeath and funerals?
It was in the Dungeon Master Guidebook.
It and Oathbreaker were meant to be playable with the DM's permission.
if you spend any amount of time on this forum, you'll find the ability to read or use google is a very rare ability, atleast it seems.
